Abstract Background Crystal methamphetamine (‘ice’) causes significant societal harm in Australia and is perceived by the public to be drug of most concern nationally. Although effective treatments exist, it estimated that only a third people dependent on amphetamine-type stimulants receive treatment each year. Barriers care may for who use ice can include psychosocial (e.g., knowledge, attitudinal) structural barriers. This study aimed look at actual barriers Australians, as well help-seeking behaviours among ice. Methods An online survey was conducted 2,110 Australians including with lived experience, health workers, affected family members/friends community members. All participants were asked about care. People experience additional questions help seeking. Results Attitudinal reasons highest barrier 63.1% participants, followed knowledge (21.9%). more likely endorse attitudinal (OR 1.35), whereas workers related 0.69).
